My Name is Frank, a Melbourne based Freelance Illustrator/Graphic artist.
My keen eye for visuals and passion for creativity has been a life long journey, focusing all my studies on design and then excelling in the graphic arts.
A 13 year career (1999-2012) as a graphic artist, at Victoria’s flagship newspaper, The Age, saw me hone my skills in many facets of art, design, and was used to the demands of tight deadlines and am proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
What began as a pure Graphic arts role, mainly consisting on Information graphics, maps recreation and photoshop enhancements, evolved into a fantastic illustrator/artist role.
Surrounded by the age’s Artist team I was inspired to become a highly sort after artist and illustrator, receiving a Quill award for best illustration and walkey finalist for best artwork.
I am now a freelancer specializing in Illustration, artwork, Information Graphics, Maps, logo creation and corporate branding.
Notable illustration/artwork clients; Mediaxpress, Domain Magazine, thenewdaily, Royal Auto Magazine, StudioDigital, Fairfax, Melbourne University Magazine, AHURI and City of Port Philip.

Ziggy THE WONDERFUl Whippet
An integral part of frankart is parnter Ziggy the Whippet. As well as being my best buddy, Ziggy reminds me to work rest and play. Taking time away from the studio is crucial to keeping the creative juices flowing, Ziggy insists on two Park walks a day, where we can connect with nature, the community and each other.
